06-03-13-05 A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF HOLDINGFORD TO ACCEPT OWNERSHIP OF THE HOLDINGFORD RECORDER AND THE   HOLDINGFORD HERALD NEWSPAPERS
06-02-13  SPLIT OF ANNEXED 40 ACRE PARCEL   Be it resolved that the 40 acres, abutting Park Street at the south end of the city, that was annexed to the City of Holdingford, Stearns County Document # 1173697, certified, filed and/or recorded on 10-27-05 by Diane Grundhoefer, Stearns County Recorder, may be split into two 20 acre parcels for development. Land is currently owned by Jeff and Karen Larson, Holdingford, MN. This split will be the north 20 acres from east to west and the south 20 acres from east to west.
06-01-09  CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE     WHEREAS, Tract “B” of parcel 58.33501.010 was previously parceled separately; and   WHEREAS, Mrs. Linda Harlander is wishing to sell Tract “B” from parcel 58.33501.010, and
WHEREAS, this Tract “B” does not need to be resurveyed in order to be resold;  NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City council of Holdingford, Minnesota, approves of the sale of Tract “B” of parcel 58.33501.010.


05-11-28           To combine polling places  with townships
05-11-14A         Be it resolved that anyone who may want to be on the agenda for a city council meeting must do so verbally or in writing to a city council member, mayor or city clerk. Acknowledgement of wanting to appear before the council must be given no later than Wednesday 5:30 p.m. preceding the council meeting. Anything received after that day and time may be put on the agenda with the understanding that any action taken by the council is at their discretion.  Adopted by the City of Holdingford city council this 14th day of November, 2005.
05-11-14B            Be it resolved that the Holdingford Fire Relief Association is granted permission to have charitable gambling at the Holdingford Municipal Liquor Store.
05-10-17             to provide a Certificate of Compliance for Mr. Louis Walz to split out of his parcel # R58.33740.005, Lot # 2 Block 3 Townsite of  Wardville. Lot 2 being the size of 140’ by 50’, known as 160 Cedar Street. This Certificate of Compliance is contingent upon Mr. Walz supplying the council with the MPCA closure report stating that the ground on this parcel of property is no longer contaminated with fuel. This motion for a resolution was made by Kim Ebnet, seconded by Ernie Schmit
05-10-11A            To accept Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) resolution promoting the use of intrastate mutual-aid agreements was passed on a motion by Mike Odden , seconded by Dick Paggen. AIF This resolution needed to be passed in order for the city to qualify for any disaster assistance should the need arise.
05-10-11B            Recend sept res. concerning 160 Cedar Street was rescinded on a motion by Ernie Schmit, seconded by Lloyd Rausch with all voting in favor.  After due discussion on new findings a motion was made by Ernie Schmit and seconded by Lloyd Rausch to allow Mr. Walz to subdivide his plated lots, none in favor, all opposed, motion denied. A motion was made by Mike Odden, seconded by Shirley Graveen to enter in to the minutes the finding that Mr. Walz had come before the council in May of 2004 asking for permission to build one home on plated lot #2 with the possibility of building two more homes on plated lots 1 and 3 in the future. Mr. Walz asked for a resolution to separate lot 2 from lots 1 and 3 on the tax roll. More information is needed before continuing with this resolution. A motion to table this until the next meeting was made by Mike Odden, seconded by Dick Paggen
05-10-11C           To purchase sewer back up insurance for clean up only in the case of city sewer lines are the         cause of sewer back ups into a resident home, causing damage. This will be for clean up only, not replacement of anything damaged in a home. It will cover up to $10,000 per home.
05-09-12A               To table the final platting of Scepaniak’s Industrial Park  Changes are being made because of the county. AIF Resolution to approve the platting once the county has the changes it needs was made by Kim Ebnet, seconded by Lloyd Rausch. As soon as the county approves the plat, the mayor and city clerk may sign off on it. The change the county requires is that the Industrial Park have only one access from County Road 151 and one access from County Road 9. Currently there are three approaches off of County Road 151 to this property. Scepaniak’s will be making one approach near the center of the property abutting Co. Rd. 151. There will then by a frontage road to lead to the different lots. This frontage road is being called Industrial Drive. motion by Dick Paggen,  second Mike Odden.  AIF
05-09-12B                Women of Today) Vegas raffle was passed on a motion by Mike Odden, seconded by Kim Ebnet. The raffle is to be held on November 26, 2005 at the American Legion. AIF
05-09-12C               To combine all three voting precincts (Holding township,school district #738, Holdingford city) into one polling place,during multi entity voting.   With voting  being at  Holdingford City Center.  Mike Odden , seconded by Lloyd Rausch . AIF
