There will be a notice put in the paper that city council will be having a special meeting for the express purpose of doing liquor inventory the end of the year (date to be determined). This is to fulfill the "open meeting law requirement on public notification."

Scott Lange on city projects:
1) Final Pay Application for Traut Wells for Well No. 3.
You will be receiving in the mail the signed final pay application. The final amount is $6,657.02.  They are done with their work and we can close their portion of the project.  We still need the signed consent of surety form, saying the bonding company agrees with closing the project,  but expect to have it by Monday's meeting.

2) Review of Quotes for Manhole Rehabilitation.
Quotes for this are due on Thursday by Noon.  So far I have two of the three quotes already.  I will forward them to you once we review.

Clean up day schedule of prices, (Saturday, June 16) Need council people to sign up to work.

Go over investments and look at CD’s maturing in May, 2007:
W/S Capitalization CD (20664) $69,170.61 transfer to water account for debt service
Maint. Equip fund CD (20667) $75,203.29 renew again as a CD
Transfer enough $s from General 8055938 (balance in this account is $259,121.48) to General fund to cover until LGA and property tax $s come in to city
Is this what the council wants to do with these CD’s and General fund?

Need council approval on Well #3 invoices from:
Traut Wells        Final payment of $6,657.62
Avon Electric        Final payment of $1,173.00
Preferred Controls    Last 10 percent of contract price: $3,586.88 (this includes $881.88 in applicable sales tax)

Another Traut Wells invoice for new pump for well, over and above bid cost: $4,779.00. Pump from Well # 1 is not good for Well # 3.

Consider Ron Hylla’s request from the Booster Club to waive the 10% of gambling funds currently directed to Equipment Fund and redirect all of gambling funds to the current project, restoring the high school gym floor.

Pay equity compliance report for 2006 from the State. We are currently working with the state to be in compliance. Two categories look like they are out of compliance.

Redo resolution (07-02-12-02) for Holdingford Daze. Bingo to be done at the Am. Legion.

Suggest to raise water/sewer rates beginning of 2007, and rates over minimum usage raised .01/unit. Raise water/sewer install rate from $1,500 to 1,800 per building permit.
